What do you think abouth the seller suing the ebay buyer for bad feedback?
The law of defamation is clear - if you write something that disparages someone in their trade then you can be sued for defamation. After all, why should someone who has possibly spent years building up a business have it trashed by one idiot.
I never buy from anyone with less than 100% feedback, so I can see why he would feel his business would suffer.
People think it's OK to say things that aren't true or are misrepresentative about people too often on the net without thinking carefully of the consequences of those they leave behind. If someone's got the nerve to sue it may help make the internet nicer for all of us if it deters the spiteful and malicious

Its good!! Buyers are took quick to leave neg feedback when the seller would have been happy to help them if they asked first!

Oh I just so wish I had the cash free to do it.
There are more idiots on e-bay than Yahoo Answers, the whole feed back system should be overhauled, if you could comment or add notes to the feedback that would help.
There is also no customer service, you cannot complain to e-bay about their service or of their money making system PayPal.
The whole thing is corrupt, hope this guy succeeds and it leads to major changes

If it was honest feedback then I think it is petty on the half of the vendor not to accept the critique.
Mind you I'm not sure exactly what was said :-)

I think it is a load of BS. There some bone headed sellers out there and the feedback process is virtually the only way of identifying these people and forewarning them

I think the issuer of proceedings understands a good marketing opportunity when he sees one.
