It's shameless...specially those CEO's who receives hundreds of millions even though their companies lost money. I feel bad for those who lost their jobs due to cut backs, then to find out their outgoing CEO is receiving a "Golden Parachute". The worst thing of all is that these people probably don't care about the money they receive, they're millionaires. It's the glory of making more than the other CEO's. It's total bullsh*t if you ask me. No one deserves 28 mil for 4 months worth of work (Allan Mullally of Ford), I don't care how much they bring to the table.
All of these corporations are trying to take over, and this is where capitalism has failed. They forget that the more you keep strip mining and fleecing the American workforce, the less people will be able to afford, then we won't be able to buy any of the sh*t they want to sell us, then they'll stop making profits, and maybe it will hit them in their billionaire pockets.
The average CEO's salary is about 500 - that's right, FIVE HUNDRED - times the average employee's salary working for them. Bastards. |

It's terrific if you are the CEO. I don't care what you do or how educated you are nobody deserves this kind of money. If it wasn't for the underpaid hard working highly skilled employee these companies wouldn't be making a profit. |

And skewing the broadcast government wage statistics. That is why the Federal Reserve keeps saying that wages & benefits are up, when everyone I know is struggling to pay their bills and live.

Depends I guess. Being a CEO of a small company would tell me that CEO's are risk takers and have gotten where they are by taking risks and building networking skills and investing effort and time. This of course does not stand up when they make tens of millions of dollars per year. That is an outrage and misuse of company funds that could help the workers up a peg or two |
