What do you think of Wal-Marts effect on our economy? How can we stop the problem that is Wal-Mart?
One movie to check out on Wal-Marts effect on our economy is Wal-Mart - The High Cost Of Low Prices. I am sure Wal-Mart is becoming a problem in America...What do you think?
You question pre-assumes that Walmart is a problem.
Why is it a horrible thing that a company actually becomes large enough to purchase items in bulk and pass the discounts to their customers in order to gain market share?
As far as their employees go, no one forces them to work for the wages they pay. If they want higher pay, maybe they can think about spending their money on higher education instead of beer and cigarettes.

Wal-Mart moves into a community and it is typical that mom and pop established businesses that are locally community oriented are closed down because they can't compete.

no more so than US Steel, Ford and GM in the 30's and 40's IBM in the 50's and 60's or Microsoft in the 70's and 80's.

Wal-Mart is the worst example of corporate greed in history!!
Your tax dollars pay for Wal-Mart's greed:
The estimated total amount of federal assistance for which Wal-Mart employees were eligible in 2004 was $2.5 billion !!! That's 2.5 BILLION we could use for our schools or whatever else OUR money should be used for.
It's the sad truth that Wal-Mart employees are at poverty level while that horrible company makes billions of dollars each year.
Stop shopping at Wal-Mart and send them a message that they give America a bad name.
