Im really curious as to what the CC: means on a fax cover page, and Re: .
CC: means carbon copy from the days when carbon paper was used to make a copy of a letter. This is who else is getting a copy of the letter or memo besides the person it was written to.

Carbon copy. It refers back to the manual days where actual sheets of carbon coated paper were used to make manual copies of typed documents.

"cc" is from way-back-when, when we used typewriters, before there were copy machines. It means "carbon copy." You used 2 or 3 pieces of paper with a piece of carbon paper between them to make multiple copies. The cc lets the recipient know who else got a copy.
"Re:" means about. Not sure why!

C.C. means "Carbon Copy". It came from back in the day before copiers were invented and people used carbon paper to create a copy. some merchants still use "Carbon Copy" credit card transaction slips so that you and the merchant have a copy of the transaction and the merchant has your signature.
