I have been tracking a package through FedEx, and the last time I checked, it said "Delivery exception: Customer not available or business closed." Will they try to deliver again tomorrow, or did they take it somewhere so I can pick it up? I know they probably left a notice on my door, but I'm at work right now and I'm impatient - I want to know what they did with my package! :) |

They may try to deliver it again but you wont know until you get home. If they left a notice it will tell you where you can pick your package up. |

have your tracking number and call 1800 go fedex you can give them redelivery or holding instructions. they usually send packages back to sender. doubt they left a not on the door...they couldn't find you. |

Under FedEx terms and regulations, FedEx make three delivery attempts. After the third one, it will be RTS (return to shipper). You can call and ask for the free HAL (hold at location), in which the package will stay at the station and you can pick it up. |

This exact thing happened to me yesterday. BUT I was home all day and never left because I was waiting for the package that was to be delivered by 4:30 Pm Mt time. When it never arrived I went to the fed-ex tracking online and it said they tried to deliver at 12:15 "Delivery exception: Customer not available or business closed."
So I called their 800 number at 6 pm and was told by a human that the driver said no one was home and he left a tag on the door. NOT!!!..they asked if I had moved, NO, they asked if I had a dog, NO, they asked if I had a gate or fence NO!, they asked if my doorbell was broke NO!!...I told her did your driver lie? YES!!
...so they told me they would put a note to that effect to the driver. And it would be attempted to be delivered today about the same time. You can make arrangements to pick it up, but I am NOT driving 30 miles, they can just do their job right. If all else fails yes they will return it to sender. Just call them!! |

you will need the calling card if they tried to deliver it, it tells you to pick up from there local office, take the card and I. D. |

they normally leave a note on your door if u arent there then you can call them (there number is on the note they leave) and they will tell where u can pick it up from |
