I agree with MIE, Wal Mart uses some pretty shady business practices. I will gladly spend more to not shop at Wal Mart. |

Wal Mart and their competition HAVE some things in common: Pay the least, give poor benefits,and allow very few to retire. Also most have their merchandise made in foreign countries since it is cheaper.
The use of Intimidation and Harassment are used to force people to quit since they believe they are paid too much and can be replaced with younger people at lower wages. Wrongful Termination is almost impossible to prove without witnesees even if the person fired documented everything. This happens to over 200,000 US citizens annually.
Corporations spy on each other and one way is through shopping and the another way is by having an employee rise through the ranks.
Also they hire corporate spies to keep an eye on their employee especially those that want to unionize. The union have lost their way since they still have plenty of corrupt union chapters and thus the anti-union companies will succeed in staying union free. The unions need to clean their corrupt people to have any chance otherwise they are slowly dying.
The following is known by those who knew the following people. When Mr and Mrs Samuel Moore Walton and Sam's brother James Lawrence Walton were alive they actually cared about their employees or known as associates.
When the last one finally died in April 2007,Helen Walton,Wal Mart has internally died.

I walked away from them gladly and choose to give up the $800,000 a year I was grossing with them . It was like working for the devil himself but they do pay their invoices on time . |
