I know that there are legitimate secret shoppers, cause a store I worked at had them. However, the fact that they want you to send money sounds like a scam. Most likely you would deposit the check and send them money. In a few days the check they sent you will bounce. |

I totally would not do that! I mean secret shoppers are real BUT if someone ever asks you to cash a check and send them the money back, it is more than likely money laundering. Do NOT under any circumstances go along with it. Though you may supposedly get to keep money you are assisting someone in making the money "clean". Basically...they have what is called "blood money" or money used from drug transactions, fraudlent transactions, whanot then they get someone to deposit the money into a bank and give them the money back "clean". I used to work for the fraud department at Chase bank so I know all about money laundering. Though you are an innocent bistander, you could get in serious trouble.

Do not cash it at your bank into your own account do it a ta store or something.
The money that you state only adds up to $2760
2000 for them
260 for shopping
500 for you
That is not near 4000
I have not tried it however I do know that secret shoppers do exist. |

Is this where they send you a check or money order? You send them their money then you find out that the check or money order they sent you is not cashable and you are out the money.
I have hear of that one. |
