Have you tried marking the frozen food packages with your name and a date? That might help. If the problem persists, it could be that others think that the freezer is stocked with goodies for anyone who wants them.
I have a similar situation where I work. Part of our office has a call center with about 100 people for each shift and only 2 small home-sized refrigerators. We insist that people mark their food containers and that they not leave food in the fridge for more than 1 shift. so, bring it in today, take the remains home today.
Suggestion: keep a few dollars handy in case you have to order take out 'unexpectedly'. |

It would not suprize me if that person took home things from the work place, be carefull who you make friends with if it ends up being this sleeze they may implicate you for there misdoings. |

Sounds like you buy very attractive food. Take your own for a while, make it simple like fresh fruit and PB and J sandwiches. If they still get stolen, you just have a very cheap person working there. Speak to someone about it, find out if this is happening to other people. Make a bit of noise. |

It may just mean they thought it was theirs. People do bring the same ones, and sometimes they forget which is theirs.
It may mean they've been seeing the same dinner in there for weeks and figure no one wants it.
It may mean they're sleazeballs who take what they want.
If you leave it overnight, it may be the cleaning people taking it.
Do what others have suggested and put your name and the date on it - in large letters or on a label that stands out, so they can't miss it. Or wrap in it a bag. |
