If I understand you correctly, this depends on whether you are in sales, or the management of sales! If you hold a sales quota, this may mean your new target will be uplifted by x+ % for a given period. If you are in sales management, it could mean sales to the defined marketplace will be uplifted by y%. (This means the company wants to increase revenue (income) and improve their top line.)
