A recession is basically when the economy is doing badly, or in bigger words, the decline of economic growth. The value of a dollar is going up daily (aka how much you pay for certain things) but salaries are staying the same or decreasing, and simultaneously, numerous people are getting laid off from their jobs because companies can't afford to pay them anymore. With all of this going on, people can't buy things they used to afford, and companies are suffering because they're not making enough money. This is a recession. |

It means the gov. wll keep talking how great it is until we are all out of money. People are afraid to spend with the infaltion and the value of the dollar dropping against the EURO and soon to be or not already China.
It is a shame that a country like ours that is founded on capitalism and the use of resources to create wealth will eventually use all the trees and oil until we are 200 years back in time. |
