What happens when a school district outsources your job?
Food Service has become a life-choice for me, and now it seems that we're to be outsourced. I wonder will my pay and position remain the same or will after twenty plus years do I have to leave.

No. That is the tragedy of outsourcing. The school system will save money, presumably costing taxpayers less. But it also dislocates and plays havoc with the lives of the displaced. Plan ahead, retrain, relocate and do not wait till it actually happens.
