I call it BS or racism against white people. It allows at times less qualified people jobs and access to scholorships solely on their race and not what they have accomplished themselves. Lucky my wife is 1/2 Hispanic so you know they will be filling in the Hispanic check anywhere they apply haha.

yup racism b/c you end up allocating a certain number of people based on their ethnicity rather than their skills alone and deny opportunities to potentially qualified candidates. this happens at universities all the time and you end up seeing people you know are not academically motivated as you.

It's called punishment for the descendants of the original exploiters of this nation who treated other humans as less than themselves. I am not a fan of Affirmative Action but I can see where it has done some good. Understand this. People who barged their way into this Country and claimed it by Right of Might were so-called God fearing Settlers. They were no more than self rightous hipocrits who treated people who didn't have the knowledge to fight back as sub-human. They were running from Persecution but forgot this as they needed something to make them feel Superior. So they themselves Persecuted Others.
These were People who claimed to know God. Go figure.
