Ole Bill thinks Yahoo is a steal...underpriced. Economic conditions etc. are giving a false impression and Yahoo stock is under priced.
Actually it would be a good time to buy a few shares of Yaho stock....Ole Bill wants to buy the whole thing!
It's not just greed...it's Capitalism at it's finest.
I hope Bill gets richer...How many people does he employ now?? Perhaps he will create even more jobs. |

nooooo! i personally do not wont this to happend, am sorry but having various providers/corp. is what makes it what it is, am happy with yahoo! with the way it is otherwise i wouldnt be here now would i. dont get me wrong,i also have windows live messenger but i wouldnt want both to mix. if microsoft do win this bid, then its just another hurdle that bill gates has taken away, how is it fair if one guy owns everything? (yes hes being greedy), my opinion is that yahoo! shouldnt sell at all pleassse? anyone dis/agree? |

I just read that story about the Microsoft bid also. It's just a power grab in order to offset their share losses to Google, as far as I'm concerned, and it would be the worst thing to happen to Yahoo if they agree to it. Microsoft IE has already won the battle of the browsers, because Netscape is being discontinued by AOL. Why do they need to acquire another search portal when they already have their own?
Such a thing would be extremely disappointing. Both my web sites have been hosted on Geocities (which was once independent but is now run by Yahoo) for more than 10 years. As much as I'd hate to do so, if the deal goes through, on principle I will move the sites to another provider. |

big fish eat small fish ,yahoo is becoming a big chunk in the internet market and microsoft is never gonna give up the monopoly policy of controlling pc and internet (they want to control everything in the IT world)they have success in most aspects except big flunk in the search engines |

Actually, Bill Gates is stepping down this year. We can't control things, so we just have to get used to them or use a different browser. Maybe if Microsoft takes over, the email service will improve and there might actually be a phone number you can call for customer service. I can't see Yahoo getting any worse, it can only get better. |
