I don't know how "new" this is, but I've read several things indicating that for many employees, time is more valuable than money. So flex-time scheduling options, shared job options, and more time off are all popular, even if the employee makes less money as a result. More and more of us are realizing the truth of that old rule of thumb: "On his deathbed, no one says I wish I had spent more time at my office." |
