What is primerica what kind of company and is it fraud or not?
what kind of company is this and i got an interview with them and all but i need to know are they a scam and if they r please tell me in detail thank you

PFS rep
Primerica is not a fraud. The company has been around for over 30 years. Fraud organizations are shut down long before the 3 decade mark.

Primerica deals with financial services. It gives the right people an opportunity to build a business within a business. Regulatory agencies ensure proper credentialling for business, Primerica ensures proper business standards. The representatives help families with financial tools to meet their needs, while building a business to ownership levels.

This is a very simplified explaination. You seem to have gotten several negative responses to your question. I just wanted to give you another positive.

I love what I do for families. I love the opportunity I have to own my business.

Is it easy? No.

Is working for someone else easy, making only what they are willing to pay you? No.

If you do the same thing you have always done, you'll always be the same place you always have been.

Be courageous. Step out an do something great.

Good luck

Primerica is a financial service company that deals with life insurance, mortgages, investments, long term care, prepaid legal, and auto & homeowner insurance.

They are definitely not a scam because they been in business since 1977 and they are a Citi company. All representatives must have a life license to sell life insurance and a securities license to sell investments. A mortgage certification is required to sell home loans or help someone with the debt elimination. In some states, you may need a property&casualty license to refer people to the auto&homeowner insurance program. If the company was a scam, the state and federal government will not issue these licenses. In fact, they would close the business down.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about the interview. Its not a job opportunity, but a business opportunity. I don't know if you ever thought about owning a business, but if you are, you can start a financial business for only $99. The $99 gets you into the life insurance class, get you mortgage certified, and later on, pays for your securities license. You are also licensed to recruit people. If you understand business, every growing organization recruits people. If you don't like the idea of running your own business, then maybe you shouldn't pursue this opportunity and find a job instead.

Primerica is often called the "Amway of Financial Services".

They try and recruit everybody. Their only requirement is that you be breathing.

Because of the pyramid structure of their organization, their products tend to be overpriced.

Many people try Primerica; very few succeed. I read that the average full-time rep only makes about $12,000 per year.

They are not a fraud in the sense that they are illegal. They are a legal and legit company. Do a Google Search (Sorry Yahoo) and see what comes up. There is a lot of "discussion" on line about their practices and opportunities. I once had a family member try to recruit me and I passed on the opportunity. The family member has since left the organization. It didn't work out very well for him, but that's not to say you couldn't make a go out of it. Do you homework and make the decision.

They are very misleading.

They sell life insurance, hype it up, and require their salesmen to purchase it.

I do not like them because of lies they have told me in the past.

Mr. Prefect
Primerica is a pyramid scheme. When you go for your interview, if your heart is still beating, as long as you look and act nice, you will be hired. You will also be the lowest rung on the ladder. Any money you eventually make, a piece of it will go to everyone above you.............. forever. You will be told to go out there and recruit others, and shown how to do this. If you do, then you move up the ladder. Also, they only sell term insurance, and will teach you how to tell the world, to buy term and invest the difference. You will also get no help finding prospects.
