What is "proof of due notice of meeting" in an organization's bylaws?
Our bylaws note we have to have this or "waivers thereof," for our annual meeting but what constitutes proof of due notice?

If there is a mailing, you would keep the receipt for the cost of the mailing.

Copy of the letter sent out to the people informing them of when the meeting happens. Copy of email. Proof that they were notified of the meeting in plenty of time.

You have to make it public that a meeting will take place, usually at least 2 weeks before the planned date, usually a in national publication and on the internet. Proof of this needs to be available afterwards.
