iF you cannot take constructive criticism then you should not be in sales. you have to be adaptable.

I think the english prefer more personal space than other people. That's about it, I think. Perhaps your problem is more fundamental.
Sales people generally have a more expressive presence. Perhaps you are just more reserved than most sales people.

I regret to note that your comments are very defencive and that when faced with criticism you prefer to blame others rather than reflect upon what is being said.
Sales is basically being able to sell yourself. Now perhaps in your homeland you were a very effective salesperson. But somehow its not working in the UK? Why not? What is the barrier(s) that you has to be overcome in order for your colleagues and clients to accept you?
I can't answer these questions for you but these may give you some guidelines on what is required.
