What is the Swift Code Number for RBC bank in Toronto?? ( wire payments!)
Hi everyone,
My uncle wants to wire me some money from Dubai. He asked me to give him my bank account number, the banks address, and information such as that. The part that confuses me a bit is when he asked for the Swift Code number of my bank.
What exactly is a swift code number? And does anybody know the swift code number is for Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto ( where i live)
The main swift code is ROYCCAT2. You don't need XXX at the end of it. Swift Codes identify the bank when another wants to make a payment order. It's just like an email address.
Hopefully Helpful
ROYCCAT2XXX ROYAL BANK OF CANADA TORONTO
or
ROYCCAT3IMM ROYAL BANK OF CANADA (CAPITAL MARKETS DEPT) TORONTO
Hope this helps.
