Avoidence. when the @$$ is coming dodge in the bathroom or under the nearest desk and if your busted just say "<colleuage's name who's desk ur under> is goin through a rough stage in his/her romance life and i was just trying to help them through it by giving them a 'go-down" and if this doesnt work there are always AK-47's. though I highly discourage this last option and so does the FBI. also you could spike their luch with laxatives and force them to go home early everyday. |

Rosenberg, Ph.D - the man who founded nvc, and he goes around the world helping people in wars and wartorn places, rapists, murderers, and victims communicate compassionately. |

Deal with him only when its necessary and other times concentrate on your work and ignore him. If it gets too bad or insulting, report him, don't just quit and walk away without a fight, unless you hate the job anyway. |

Sorry to say that most bosses are assholes. That is what they get paid to be. You will find the real nice bosses getting run over by their subordinates and ineffective. Work is work - live with it or start your own company. Of course with your own company you have to contend with customers who are assholes.

Take a deep breath, try to find something during the day where you can regain your composure and peace.
If it is really that bad, you'll need to consider your options. And maybe it might be a good time to brush up your resume. |

Make sure that you are on time to work. If you are being paid to work 8 hrs. give the company that you are working for a full 8 hrs. Don't fool around talking on the phone and coming back late from lunch. Be organized and prepared for work each day. If the boss continues to be an asshole, look for another job. |
