Why on earth would you want to do that? First of all unemployment is not fun! You don't just get paid to sit on your behind! You have to consistently be looking for a job, and prove it! They make you go to classes and sit and look for jobs, it isn't a free for all! Also unemployment is a good way to screw your self over come tax season! So before you go wishing something so terrible look into getting a different job if you don't like the one you have.
Also unemployment isn't easy to get and if you get fired for a reason then your employer can fight so that you can't collect it!

You know, you don't actually get paid that much on unemployment. It's like less than half your salary or something like that. Every state is different, but it would be better for you to find another job while you still have the one you might get fired from and then just quit on a Wednesday and go to work at your new job on Monday. That's what I did. And I even surfed the net, found, and applied for the job right on-line at the desk I was working at! |

If you get fired for poor performance you don't get unemployment. Only if you are laid off.
If they fire you, you can always try to sue your company to get unemployment. If they didn't keep a good paper trail documenting your performance showing that you were warned, or if they don't bother to refill your old position, you can make a case that you were wrongly terminated. |

negative approach, its not good. be in employment apply for another job if you are not interested in present job. If you do something wrong it will be on record and if you go even somewhere, the present employer will contact to your previous employer so maintain good relation and leave the job with respect. |

You do not want to be fired, you want to be laid off. If you are fired the unemployment takes much longer to get started, and it will be harder to find another job. |
