Oh my goodness... so many people who answer without knowing what they're talking about. The answer is Wal-Mart. They are #1 on the 2007 Fortune 500 list. ExxonMobil was #1 in 2006, but no more.

And I believe it was Larry Ellis of Oracle that donated billions to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

P.S. This shows how ridiculous Yahoo Answers is: you thumb the correct answer down, even when it comes with a source. You guys are something else.

And Randy: "Micro slop"? Oh my goodness, are you 12? Not to mention, Microsoft isn't the answer to any of the questions presented.

I know this always comes somewhere one way or another but...it depends.
Some companies are rich in candy items, some are rich in a certain type of market, some are big in a certain part of the world....
Just think...Apple is a HUGE company, but its computer buisness? Weeny...compared to Microsoft, but its media devices buisness? Weeny...compared to Apple.

Clive Roland
