in any manufacturing company what does engineering department do?
An engineering department will carry out any repairs nessecary on exiting tooling, make new tools jigs and/or fixtures that are required, and even possibly handle production. It depends soley of the core business of the manufacturing company in question, we are a manufacturing company and our enginering department handle all that I have mentioned above
