Do you mean gross profit or net profit? gross margin or net margin

Basically if you sell anything that did not cost you a penny, then you've created an infinite profit margin.

My vote for most profitable business is crime.

In terms of dollar profit, it is ExxonMobil - with billions in profits

jeffrey
Exxon Mobil. They top the Fortune 500 list with over 36 billion in profits last year. They are followed by Wal-mart at 11 billion in profits....

According to the Fortune 500, Exxon Mobil is the most profitable, followed by Royal Dutch Shell, United Airlines, BP, and Citigroup.
