Bankruptcy and reorganization. Shed the unions and their costs. $74.00 an hour with their benefits, and most of these people do not even have marketable skills. I never made that much with a Masters degree! Ridiculous!

The government needs to stop the bail out insanity. Declare Chapter 7 - the world won't end if GM goes out of business...vehicles will still be manufactured in the U.S., with or without GM. It's called "tough love" and the government needs to start practicing it. |

Either chapter 7 or 11. We can not save every company in the US. Nor should we. Perhaps it is time to let one go. |

Chapter 11 would keep them going, but would allow them to renegotiate with their work forces.
Continual government bailouts will merely prolong the inevitable and the end result is a larger bill for the taxpayers... You and me. |
