I am a liberal democrat. That aside...
I really do think that it is the global weather issue. India uses a ton of fuel and the effects on the climate are great (not as much as us, admittedly). By switching them to an alternative fuel source, it will help slow the global warming. Additionally, by accepting this agreement, India must agree to UN inspections to ensure they use it for energy rather than weapons.
As a conservative (semi-moderate), I oftentimes disagree with decisions made by this administration, however, I like this one and wish it would progress to our nation.
That is my opinion. |
