What is the specific difference between the LLC and Ltd after a company name?
I've researched the structures of LLC and Ltd. It seems both stand for Limited Liability...So what is the difference?

The only difference is in the lettering itself. Both abbreviations indicate that the business entity is a Limited Liability Company. The name of every Limited Liabity Company has attached "LLC" or "L.L.C." or "Ltd" or simply "Limited Liability Company."

ltd is an English corporation. llc is a limited liability company...not a corp, but protected against liability.

When it all comes down to it - just how much yer able to collect in a law suit - keep googling - it'll do ya good

LLC means Limited Liability Corporation. It tells all those lawyers sharks swimming out there that you have limited means and cannot be sued for millions and millions of dollars.

Lawyers usually have 'PC' written after their names. That means Personal Incorporated. They can operate their office out of their homes and it is a tax dodge.
