I would no job is completely immune. Hospitals in many smaller towns have closed down. Even in Detroit. It has less than half the number of hospitals it had 20 years ago.
Police officers, teachers, firefighters and many other "safe jobs" are still dependent on public financing from taxes. Taxes from the economy. When you have mass unemployment, no job is truly "safe". Some members of these job fields will be safer than others due to seniority and union contracts. |

You most likely won't lose your job if you're a paramedic, police man, nurse, general physician, dentist, dental surgeon, and many other medical jobs. The reason why is no matter how bad the economy gets, everyone still needs police, and everyone still gets sick, so medical staff has to stick around. |

anything having to do with the army, military etc. whether its selling parts of army planes or building them or just anything having to do with the army
think about it, doctors are even complaining now because people can't pay for health insurance and can't afford going to the doctor when they are sick so they won' t even go |
