Based on the WalMart that I shop at, the employees are either 100 years old or just got off the boat from another country and speak no English. Oh yeh, and they are very very slow moving. They are kinda like the people who work at the DMV. |

I used to work at WalMart. If you are willing to really work diligently, every hour, and live by the rules, it's a great company. Their benefits are fantastic. Job security is unsurpassed. But don't EVER, EVER, EVER sneak a bite of food from the Deli.
They toss out about 20% of it daily, but if you nibble at all, you're fired. It's the best run company on earth in my opinion. They fired me...so that should impress you.
PS - Every job is really what you make it out to be. If you have a good attitude, you'll love it. If you're a whiner, you'll hate it. This is true with life, work, school, marriage...so just elevate your attitude if ever you think a situation is bad.
I admire anyone who works for WalMart...they feed the nation, and that's no small feat. In fact, they're heroes! |

wall mart is a horrible place to work. i learned that they prefer illegal or immigrant workers because they don't have to pay them as much and they lock them in the store over night. also wall mart doesn't let you work enough hours a day to receive benefits. |

Did you know there is a movie called Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price. There is also called Wal-Town? Watch the trailer, then tell me if you still want to work there. They exploit their workers, give them just almost not enough hours to receive benefits and its really low class. You can do better.
