OMG! SO MANY! BT are terrible internet providers! They overcharged us for internet access that we didn't get, then it took them four months and several phone calls to give it back.

The amount of bandwith they offer is rediculously more than we actually received. We were often cut off. When they sent the man over to look at our wiring, they didn't help at all. My dad has been working in computing for 20 years and knew the problem wasn't in our wiring anyways.

They kept us on hold for HOURS.
and when they finally answered the phone they were either rude and unhhelpful, or told lies about when things would be fixed.

Half of their call centres are in India and where the people are lovely, they don't speak v good english!!

I would not recommend BT's internet services to anyone! They are complete **************!!!

BODGE IT AND SCARPER
My only gripe is that when you call CS, you get diverted to someone in India that speaks very poor English. The Indians are all very nice, polite and try to help you as much as they can, but they don't seem to understand you and you cannot understand them. What should normally be a short conversation then turns into many minutes of 'pardon', 'repeat please', 'whassat you say'.... etc. Very frustrating.

The problem was to do with the following:
They took over my comp for 2 hours and tried to fix a Norton AV problem I had. Unsuccessful, they called back some days later and spent another hour taking over my comp. They never did fix the fault - and how could they fix my computer from Mumbai? I ended up fixing it myself. Then they called back and wanted to take over it again - I said NO! It's all sorted now. But what a carry on I had.

None other then like someone has already said not being able to understand people on the phone. There are nice and polite but when your stressing out cause your internet has just failed and you have something important to do and you then can't understand the perosn trying to help it just makes matters worse. Whenyou in a panic all you want is someone to help but someone to help who understands me and me understand them.
