What should a employee do to impress his boss? ?

YOROTPIDUS
First and foremost, do not try to IMPRESS your boss.

What you should really concentrate on, is building a great rapport with him/her.

- You have to make your boss feel comfortable working with you. That means you do not throw attitude at him, listen intently, feedback constructively, work sincerely. Also, try and understand why your boss does what he does. Get into his mind...
- You treat him with respect, and create an atmosphere, where your boss also respects you. This is achieved by cutting out loose talk, being informative when required, respecting his authority in public and logically presenting your points in private.
- By setting examples in the team. This means you are punctual, dress well to work, supportive towards other people, protective towards your domain, give credit, take responsibility etc...

If you follow these principles, you'll never have a problem with any boss.

Do not try to impress your boss. If you try to do that over a period of time you will loose your own Identity. Then it will be tough for your sub- ordinate to understand you when you become a boss. Set a goal based on company requirement and your carrier growth and work towards it.

To impress the boss: We have to chant two slogas (kept in mind two rules) . Rule No( Slogam No.1) .1. You should work for your boss investment making profit! and Rule No. 2. you Should not forget the Rule no. One. All the best!

Very simple, come to work at least five minutes earlier, leave at least five minutes late and in between do your job to the best of your ability, never to repeat the mistakes and most importantly be happy and helpful to all and never be disruptive and destructive to sink the ship and get fired.

I work at UPS, and I am white, but my boss is black. When I first started to work their I really worked my butt, and earned the nickname He-Man, but I had strikes against me because of my race, and he just used my enthusiasm to destory my body, I stood up to him, and had a shouting match, which afterwards, earned his respect. Bosses are like normal people they tend to be very stereotypical so you want to show that your not a statistic, but a truly unique individual. Be yourself and not something else, because if you put on an act you will eventually be revealed for who you are. Look your boss in the eyes. Eye contact shows strength and confidence in ones self, it also helps with women as well.

There are many ways in which you can impress your boss and the obvious one is by working hard. I you have a nightmare boss and whatever you do does not seems him to impress him, there are a few things that you can try.
good manners re always looked upon highly, and if you are polite and considerate to your work colleagues, as well as your boss, and are appreciated to like more. if you make a mistake, tell your boss about it to show him that you are honest instead to cover it up. So, these are some ways to impress your bos.
