find out what your customers want and then get it for them. thats what I do. Its easier than trying to sell them something that they don't want or need |

Selling is a numbers game. You have to make sure you have a big enough pipeline of prospects to convert into sales. That means you have to set targets for your sales team on number of telephone calls per day, number of sales meetings per week. Once you know how many calls convert to prospects, how many prospects convert to hot leads and how many hot leads convert to sales you can very quickly work out your likely sales per week and how many sales people you need to achieve your sales target.
No big mystery about it really but amazing how many companies don't do it. |

But most businesses make the mistake of thinking that if they cut the staff cost by employing kids at minimal wage, and then use the savings to keep the product cost down, they will pull in the crowds.
However, the biggest seller is your customers having confidence in your product, and if you have some spotty kid recommending it to you customers, then the good price could be translated as a cheap and nasty product - you have to have good products, and credibility with your customers - a trust that you will sell them a great product at a fair price, not rip them off. |
