What stores are typically grouped with Starbucks?
We just got a Starbucks in a small strip mall in our town of only 40,000 people. I was wondering, since I know they do this nationally, which stores are typically paired with them? What stores will come around them you know? Our Wal-Mart just got a huge strip mall next to it with EB Games and Fashion Bug, UPS Store, etc. and I found out that this is the same a lot of places. Just wondering!
the Starbucks by my house has a Western Bagel, Jamba Juice, Panda Express, Togos, Coldstones, and Blockbuster (Southern California)

Starbucks is more of an "upscale" coffee shop, usually (if at all) goes with book stores (like Barnes and Noble - or the subsidiary of Starbucks - the Seattle's Best Coffee in Border stores). I saw a small Starbucks in a whole foods store, but mostly as a separate shop in large malls (inside malls most of the times).
Other than this, stand alone shops in areas with high traffic - therefore opportunities to capture it. I do not see Starbucks parrying with Wal-Mart, mostly because they target different income level customers.
