What to do if Ebay has no customer support center to help me with Fraud?
Ebay sent me a notice saying that they had deleted an item and suspended the seller on an item I had just finished paying for (this was Monday). I immediatly contacted Pay Pal (which is who my payment went through) and they said its not in their hands and they can not help me.
Again, & again I've tried several times to contact the seller and there is no response.
Its been days since I contacted Ebay by an emailed complaint (thats their only protocall) and still I have not heard from them. Today I called ebay which is only an automated system and after pushing all options possible I finally got through to an "emergency" operator who said they dont have authority to handle my complaint and I need to be patient and WAIT for someone to contact me once they have investigated my original complaint email. Responding that this is rediculous and unprofesional business practice I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. The operator then told me that person was in a meeting. No help at all.

Not to worry.

Call your bank. If you used Pay Pal you had to set it up with a credit card. You are protected by your credit card card disclosure you got when you opened the account. The bank will mail you a form to fill out. Document everthing. The bank will credit your card. Do it now as there is a time frame of 60 days that you have to respond with the form.

There is a specific area of ebay to start the complaint. Look in MY eBay. On the left had column you'll see where to start. Make sure the $ is not in you pay pal account.

depends on how much it was sold for, paypal has a security insurance if something like that happens. its a fee, but its helpful. alot of sellers tend to sell things that will get deleted just to get money from u. u have to becareful in who u do business with, always check there feedback history, see what they have sold in the past and make sure they are a registered user with paypal.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. They DO have customer support center, a pretty extensive one, but Paypal is where you have to go and you have to file a claim. Also, when using the eBay email system, that is primarily designed for contacting other users. Instead go to your sellers account, if you have one, and ask them a question...for which you will be force- fed into a number of categories and subcategories until you can "fit" your complaint. If you do not have a sellers account, use the eBay email system to contact the seller, and do so every other day to give the seller an opportunity to respond. After three attempts then send copies of the emails, which are already on record with eBay, to PayPal and also again to eBay, all as one attachment in your complaint. One last thing...be careful of phishing sites pretending to send you item deleted notices...obviously, if they have suspended the seller, unless he had a vaild email address outside of eBay, and not a free one like Yahoo, or Gmail, you will have little chance to get to the seller to get your money back. Unscrupulous sellers know this, and know how to do this.
