What turned the tide to where I can no longer buy most manufactured goods from the United States?

It is not just one thing.....

Corporate greed. Poor quality products. Poor education. Laziness.

American companies have all left America for third world countries. With the rise of the unions to protect American workers, American corporations began moving their companies overseas where they can exploit their employees again. Longer hours, less strict safety, less strict OT pay etc....they allowed their factories to become antiquated while third world countries were building new state of the art factories. They planned poorly. They did not see far enough into the future, only so far as they could save a buck.....it ended up costing us all in the end. We are becoming a civilization in decline.

Alot of the goods produced here are not good quality goods and are easily replaced with better or cheaper made imports......Ford, Chrysler, etc. Remember Zenith TV's they used to be made here. They may have been good early on, but in my age group they were always junk. Pfaltzgraff used to be made here, then it moved to Mexico, then China......the quality of the product is now junk. Don't American companies have pride in their product anymore? Honda beats American cars because they are better, much better. Period.

America is graduating record numbers of kids from high school who can neither read or write, thus making them completely unemployable. Why hire a retard when you can hire someone with a master's degree from India to do the same job for less? Also, some american employees just don't want to work. I know so many able bodied white men and women who just don't work anymore. They do it for five or ten years, then that is the end of it. The dirty little secret in America is that workmen's comp & medicaid is the white man's entitlement program. I see it every day in my job and in my neighborhood. Can anyone say 'chronic low back pain' & severe ' depression & anxiety'?

When a shopper can get a better quality product at a cheaper price, they will buy it. Often they will buy a better quality product and pay a higher price if it is the type of goods that is worth 'getting what you pay for'. Ex: Compare Kitchen Aid mixers to the rest of the junk out there. It is a solid piece like we used to make from the 1950's. People pay through the nose for it, but you buy it once and you keep it forever.

America, generally speaking, has no competitive edge with the rest of the world due to poor education, poor quality products, poor vision, and corporate greed and laziness.

btw: China is importing goods to this country FROM American companies that have gone there and set up shop or subcontracted work out. In many cases, we are not actually buying Chinese imports BUT American products now being made in China. We tend to blame China for something that is OUR fault, not theirs.

because people in other countries like China and Mexico are paid a small fraction of what US workers make. It's been said that the growth of Wal-mart is a factor in sending manufacturing overseas because it pushes its suppliers to lower their prices each year.

I'm thankful you asked this question ...

The globalists (one world government devotees) usually affiliated with the banking industry. They finance and profit from wars they create and control the nations leaders.

They tell governments how to vote to allow goods to come into our country at lower costs. They made it profitable for large manufacturers to go overseas to produce goods & services, thus we lose jobs.

It's all part of a (in your face) plan where America (as you know it) doesn't exist with the rights & privileges of the middle class. These globalists want, only the very rich (them) & the very poor (us).

The Mexicans are used to this system and will adjust easily (I suppose they believe) by having so many (of them) here also breaks our solidarity as Americans to unite. (This is why our boarders were left open.) (And as long as they can keep us fighting each other ... they can do what they want.)

By us (Americans) losing jobs, with a falling stock market, mortgage defaults, using two wars to drain our money, breaks our economy & spirits. (All this is by design.)

They want a North American Union. And they created this terrible economy, devalued our dollar, keeping us broke, so we'll agree to join their plan. Then we'll be stuck with a new currency called the "Amero" (It's like this: They create a problem with a known solution with an outcome they desire.)

Some controlling forces you should already know are: The Bilderberg Group, Triateral Commission, The Bohemian Grove, & (naturally) the oil companies.

THIS IS WHO THEY ARE: Just some of the controlling families: The Habsbrurgs, Hanovers, Harrimans, Oppenhelmers, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Warbergs, there are about 13 in all, and known as the Illuminati.

So as long as we let ourselves be entertained with T.V. and the controlled News media (they control) (without us standing up) and if we are willing to keep trading freedom for (supposed) security, as the forces that be keep preaching terror, terror, terror, we will become a micro-chipped society (of slaves) with a (eventual) one world government that will rule all.

And this is why you can hardly buy goods manufactured in our good ole USA that I love so much.

What I want you to know is ... it doesn't have to be this way ... we can demand more ... and doesn't this scenario remind you of the movie "Ants"???
