We are in a recession. It just means that business are going to struggle for a little while and people are too. We aren't going to have another Great Depression and people aren't going to be lining up at the store for loaves of bread. Belts will tighten but we aren't going to have to cut off the electricity and sit home in the dark. It will be fine and the economy will turn around in a year or two. |

Stocks will drop, jobs will be lost, homes foreclosed, people spend less, businesses go bankrupt and/or go out of business or get bought out by someone else. |

to be honest your already in it, you just can't see the effects yet. The main thing i would worry about is the massive debt. if the government is losing huge amounts of money and can't borrow any what happens to all the public spending that is necessary to keep America running? |
