Is it ok to be a little bit of a silly girl in the office...like for fun and stuff. I'm 21 and i'm in an office with a load of older men and woman. I like to flirt and act silly just to make the working day more interesting and the men seem to love me (but not the woman). Basically i'm blond, and very booby and for the crack one of the directors asked me to take off my top on a night out for a dare. As i'm proud of my rack, i did. They all applauded me and tole me i had a great pair but 2 of the older woman said i'd gone too far. I feel bad. But since then I got a really fat payrise and the others are complaiing theres is frozen. Plus i get an easier time from my male boss. Whats the harm |

Great way to temporarily get ahead. But, I'm going to be real blunt.
Lousy for future prospects.
The older women can sue the company for creating a hostile working environment and pay inequality.
Eventually your boss may think "fun" = easy or leave.
And, face it and take a look at those "older woman", you will be one someday and your looks probably won't be as good as you hope. Being old sucks.
So, using this method of success how do you plan on changing jobs? How do you think a future HR rep will take it when she is told, *wink*wink* that you are "fun".
Not very well.
While this appears to be working, it is temporary. The "fun" but non, or less, producing are the first to get the axe as you are a detraction to work. And you have the least seniority.
Enjoy it while it lasts sweetie, as with all girls I've seen go down this path, they have a fast ride when young and end up fat, bitter old, lonely women.
Finally, pretty is fleeting, stupid is forever. Of course if you choose to bottom feed, you could be of "interest" as a last call for a long, long time.

What sounds like harmless fun can soon end up going sour. Sounds like your male colleagues are having a bit of a laugh at your expense. I'm sure you are a looker with a great pair but why do you want to give a bunch of sad men some cheap thrills? Sounds like the women of the office already don't like you and all it takes is a new girl to join the office and you won't be number one anymore and you might be left feeling a bit used and silly.
Start acting a bit more professional and make more of an effort with the other women because you did take a bit too far. Let the blokes find their titillation elsewhere. |

Why did u feel the need to please the guys? I say u went too far and I think its **** that you got a payrise whilst the others didnt thats real bad and unfair. To be honest the women will end up dispisng you, and they are probs a bit jealous that you get on with the men. U will be classed as the bosses favourite coz u took your top off, you know its girls like you who gave men the idea we are all easy. |
