When asked what you dislike about a company, try to give some constructive criticism. Choose something that many people complain about, and try to have a solution for it.
When asked about your weaknesses, make sure that you choose something that does not apply to your position with the company. |

I agree with Meaghan. Also be ready with a few "likes" as well so the boss doesn't think you are "down" about the whole place. "While I think this can be improved by doing that, I also think something else is working very well for us". |

Always start with YOUR problem. Say for this case, YOUR weaknesses. Be honest. Everyone has got their own weak spot. Just be creative in counter defense this matter to make it sound positive, hopeful and productive. After which, the problem your company's having. Again, be honest. As if you could get the boot from your boss. Shoot it. Too many deadlines... No coffee machine... No pretty/handsome employees... Too many foreigners in your department...(No, no. I'm not discriminating) Just be prepared to back your reasons. As long as it could help to improve working standards or sales or safety, you'll be fine. |

I have successfully navigated this for decades at my company. You are probably having to do a self review now? Anyway, the way to get by it with flying colors is on the company question... make sure it is something very politically correct and that can apply to large sections of the employee population. Say something like, I wish the company sponsored some health conscious activities and promoted employee wellness programs more. Or I would like to see the company do more to encourage women and minorities in management. One that I used that got rave reviews was I said I wished the company would start a peer coaching program so that the top employees could share their knowledge and experience with those who were working their way up. On the what can you do better... don't self incriminate. Say something like, while I do get my work finished in a timely manner, I think I could do even better if I worked to improve my organization skills. Or, I'm working on being more of a leader within my team. Long years working for a huge company has taught me the big wigs love this kind of stuff. |

i would say when they ask what my weaknesses are that I'm to hard on myself to get things done which could be considered a good thing but say it with a smile and when they ask what do you dislike about the company i would say that what i dislike about the company is that i don't work for it which will more then likely bring out laughter |

Say that there were very few opportunities for
advancement. For the weaknesses say that you
need to improve on your priorities when working.
That could be anything just insert your weakness.

well I'm not sure what kind of company you're at but whatever you do choose to say try to be as diplomatic in saying it as you can. Last thing you need is cause friction or get yourself fired! |

What I dislike about company - would like opportunities to be more innovative.
What about weaknesses - I tend to work harder than people around me and do many things at once.
It's all good. |
