There are no good answers to this question. It is an open ended designed to flush out what you have and more importantly, what you don't have. I would say, " Well I have developed a lot of skills through hard work and experience and have used those to contribute to my previous assignment. What are some of the most important qualities this position requires"? At that time, shut up and keep your eye contact. You want to know what the interviewer is looking for before you spill your guts. By the way, you should have already gotten all your strengths and weakness memorized and practiced. After the guy speaks, start tossing your strengths he is looking for with short stories of success to satisfy him.

When you made it to the interview, you and most everyone are qualified. Take control of the conversation by asking open questions and you will separate yourself from the pack. Don't just sit there and be the sacrificial lamb. Stand toe to toe with the guy without being too aggressive or abrasive. He would appreciate you a lot more.

give them great qualities about yourself...like...i'm a very hard worker....quick study....always on time....your qualifications for the job....you have this much experience, and think your ability would be benificial to the company. you have to sell yourself. hope that helped.

When you go to an interview, be prepared to give "3 ups and a down" (things you are really good at, and one thing that you are aware that you need to work on). When describing your strengths use things like team work, a desire to learn and use that knowledge to work with new employees or team members, and multi-tasking. Employers are generally looking for someone who is willing to accept responsibility, work with others (or the public, if applicable), and help move the company in a forward motion, and your long term with the company. They don't expect you to come in and save the company but they also want to make sure that you are going to be a good investment and non-problematic. Make sure that you take a sense of humor (appropriate humor!!!) for the interview, and remember they don't want to hire a robot, so let YOUR PERSONALITY show through. www.CareerBuilder.com has great interview tips too. Good luck!

that would depend on what your strenghts are: If you feel that you are a good multi-taster. then say that. If you feel that you Are a good communicator then include that If you feel like you get along well with co-workers include that. Bacially Just anything that YOU feel that you do best at in the job you are applying for.If it computer skills and you are a fast typest with (letters) tell them that....or if you exel on the number pad faster you can let them know that. Believe me have it prepared they will want to know your strengths as well as your weaknesses...and try to be honest..it will impress the boss more if your honest about than them to hire you and found out that you lied about it.

You have to say what is true for you - not only because it's important to tell the truth, and you don't want to find yourself in a job that doesn;t suit you, but because they'll ask follow-up questions and will quickly detect when you're telling porkies. But here are some questions to think about and the answers will help you towards discovering your strengths:

Think about five or six times in your adult life when you've felt that you were doing your best work. Write them down. Now ask the following questions:

What skills did you have to use? Skills with things? people? figures? words? IT? etc ..

What relationships were involved - big team, small team, on your own, with boss, with subordinates, with outside parties, etc?

What success criteria were applied to the project? Who set them? How did you know that you'd done well?

Whose standards were you being judged by?

What got you started and what made you stop?

How do those projects differ from the ones where you were less successful?

What did you learn from them? Did you get better as time went on, and can you say why?

What sort of time-scale were you working on? short- or long-term? Lots of pressure or not so much pressure? How did you handle that?

What specific problem-solving skills did you have to bring to the task? What skills did other people bring and how did you integrate with them?

What would you differently next time?

Who if anyone was proud of you and why? How did you get feedback?

Give those a really hard think and you should be well equipped to give your own, thoughtful answers. Good luck.
