First thing that came to my mind was the Simpson's episode where they went to a mall, and EVERY store was a Starbuck's except one, which was going out of business and a sign was posted: "Starbucks, Coming Soon."
Next thing that came to mind was a memory of one of the first times I went into a Starbucks. I just wanted a cup of coffee. A plain, black cup of regular coffee. I could NOT find it on the menu. I'm sure it was there, somewhere, but I could not see it. I asked the counter person (sorry, barista) and he offered a list of "Columbian, African" etc. etc.
I said, "Surprise me." and let it go at that. |

overly happy people enjoying there job way to much... my friend and i were just talking about that last night. we went through the drive through and the employee was seriously on speed or something he pretty much had his head in my car telling us how happy he was to serve us. ha then he gave us free itunes and compared it to a sample of crack. |

Over-roasted, bitter coffee. I live in the Puget Sound area, the HOME of star-sucks, and there are so many places with better coffee that I don't go to them any more. Eric Clapton should do a remake of J.J. Cale's "Cocaine" and call it "Caffeine" for us northwesterners. |
