I sent one earlier in the week, I was just in the mood for it too!! I had purchased a home cinema, I got the TV and stand, and was left waiting on the DVD and speakers. 8 weeks later I am still waiting, so I let rant, using my official email address (alwasy works wonders) and sure enough I'll get them tomorrow |

Delta Airline SCREWED me and my husband bad. We were all booked in May to fly to Punta Cana where we were scheduled to marry on the beach and stay on a week for our honeymoon. We showed up on time and stood in a massive line up waiting to board. It seems they "closed boarding early" and failed to make an announcement. They closed the boarding for the flight while we were NEXT IN LINE and didn't even let us know it was happening. After that they said there were no more flights out except one leaving two days later that would cost us another 1200 dollars! We lost our wedding, our honeymoon thousands of dollars in resort fee's and after 3 months of complaining via fax, phone, media, regular mail and email...they offered us ...a travel voucher, for $500.00. Needless to say , I am not satisfied. |

3 yrs ago I sent BBB Better Business Bureau a complaint about car dealer switching service warranty contract on mini-van we purchased through them. The complaint was valid but the Dealer was not a member of BBS and they could not resolve complaint.
Services we were trying to get corrected was rack and pinion
on van went bad, approximately $1,200 worth of replacement
plus labor. All this happen while my son was in hospital for a brain tumor. A local dealer got involved and fixed the van and didn't charge a dime.
It does help to complain ................. sometimes ............. but the end results ................. a better person steps up to correct a wrong done by another. |

About three weeks ago. No, the code enforcement people failed the person, but they only addressed one part of the complaint, not all three, so the fix that was approved did not get the desired results. |

Whenever I am totally p***ed off, I write a letter.
So far, Bally's Total Fitness cleared my account and my credit report (had to go as far as the VP of Membership).
Ameritech erased false internet charges.
Received free dinner at Hooters (they put shrimp on my plate, I'm allergic to seafood).
One tip for those of you who have not received any responses. Write another letter and at the bottom put a cc to an attorney. I never send the letters to my attorneys, but it kinda gets the company moving if they think you are about to start a lawsuit. |

in fact im in the process of writning one to the dentist, wish me luck, because he made me get an infection , then 3 years later i had to get root canel tratment for £250, if he dealt with the infection in the first place with antibiotics, then the problem wouldnt have gone so far,

I wrote one about two weeks ago, a company had put poor quality brake pads and discs on my car and the pads rattled. They had two opportunities to put the matter right and failed. Their third suggestion was to weld a piece of metal to the back of the pad! I declined their offer and complained to head office. Got a full refund a few days later. Although headoffice didn't seem too upset about the idea of welding a brake pad |

I emailed the Jack's pizza company, because I purchased their pizza rolls...now I am a huge fan of their pizza's, but the rolls that I purchased were totally not filled w/ hardly anything! Very dry..(I'm used to Totino's brand)...so I emailed them letting them know that it was just a suggestion that they put more filling in...they sent me a coupon for 2 free bags of rolls...um, I didn't like them. Why would I want more?? |

Have just sent one to a travel company for false advertising a coach trip that we have just been on . Had a reply within an hour that they are investigating my claims . Did make a point of mentioning Trading Standards and their illegal false advertising . I truly believe we are a country that do not stand up for ourselves enough . Well done to you . |

I was stopped leaving an ASDA store and searched, basically accused of being a shop lifter, totally unfounded.
Got a lawyer to sue them or at the very least apologise for their actions.
They replied to my lawyer and basically said we are a multimillion pound company with hundreds of lawyers who can drag this on for years, can your client afford this!
Got my own back by going to the media with it! |

I recently filled out two complaint cards. One for bad service at the grocery store and the other for a helium tank I bought for my sons birthday (it only blew up half the balloons it said it would). I haven't heard anything from them.
A while ago a called the baby formula company to complain that the formula I bought was different that it had been and seemed to be making my baby throw up and they sent me two free cans and a bunch of coupons. |

Early this year, I wrote a letter of complaint to the CEO of a major Computer Manufacturer regarding really bad service. (and expensive)
I did a YAHOO search of the companies home page. Went to "ABOUT US" (the company) which will always lead you to the present Top Executives Bios'.
You can always find the ADDRESS of the HOME OFFICE there. May be under "INVESTORS"
I sent a registered letter, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED, to the home office to his attention.
I explained what was happening with his company & service & how it was "DECREASING HIS MARKET SHARE & BOTTOM LINE" & that the company's reputation for poor service was spreading rapidly by word of mouth.
The CEO is held responsible by the Shareholders & the MAJORITY STOCKHOLDERS ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. USUALLY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD.
I told him that I did not want to take it to the board as I'm sure that someone below him was at fault.
The WEEK AFTER they recieved my letter, the well known electronics retailer where I had bought the really high end PC & peripherals said they had recieved a PHONE CALL from the manufacturer of the Computer.
The manufacturer asked them to let me return the unit & choose any brand I wanted. The manufacturer would re-imburse the retailer.
This I did & am pleased with another major brand whose service is superior. |

I had Valentine's Day dinner with my then-boyfriend at a restaurant in a hotel. DInner was an hour and a half seating and they were supposed to have roses and a wandering violin player. No roses, no violin player, and in the first hour and a half, we had only gotten our first two (cold) courses. I went to talk to the concierge because we had a carriage ride scheduled for after dinner, and the slow service was going to make us late. She scolded me for using a carriage company different from the one recommended by the hotel, and insisted that the one I reserved with didn't exist because she had not heard of it (even though she had their number). We got out of dinner after 3 hours (four courses) and had missed our carriage ride altogether.
I wrote a letter to the GM of the hotel about all of this, and they ended up giving us our wedding night in the hotel, with dinner and breakfast, as well as a carriage ride after dinner. |
