It seems all I hear about now is people talking about gas prices. To improve the situation, I'd like to know where I can purchase 100% American gas, which would decrease the profits of greedy monopolies like OPEC, and therefore, prices would have to be lowered.
So, where can I go to get 100% American gas?
And, some American gas companies (ex. ExxonMobil) get their gas from the Middle East, so don't send me to Exxon. Just places that actually get their gas from the USA.
Oil companies REFINE oil from all sources. This makes gasoline, and other products. They then sell to brokers, who sell to gasoline stations, etc. No oil company uses100% American oil only. There is no such thing as 100% American gas.

assuming you find a 100% American gas company why would they sell it to you cheaply when they can sell it at higher price.
This is business and business is all about making money.

It's impossible to get 100% Us gas, unless you own a rig and a refinery of your own.

This would almost be nearly impossible. Because of a small minority of enviromentalists that won't let the government drill for oil on US soil. Our government are a bunch of milk toasts at standing up for the majority who would love to have cheaper gas. We need to just drill for it secretly and not let them know about it. I also think that nuclear powerplants also need to be built in America. That would take care of a large portion of our oil usage. We need to be in competition with OPEC for the lowering of oil prices.
