Everywhere including Red Fort it is said that the 6th Pay Commission Report has been implemented by Government after some further revision. But no where Revised details of Pay Bands etc. are available. Whether this is true or only coming election propaganda

The recommendation of 6 th pay commission have been accepted by govt with slight modification and implemented from 1st jan 2006.From sept on ward you will get your pay with new pay scale and arrears of revised pay shall be reimbursed to you in two installment.First installment you will get within this FY,and balance in next FY.(IN BRIEF)

Yes. The Cabinent has approved the Sixth Pay Commission Recommendations with some modifications for Central Govt. employees with effect from 1.1.2006. Arrears in two instalments. New Pay will be paid from September 2008. Please visit the website "sixpaycommission.blogspot.com" for more details.

The govt has given one & half month time to make 40% of the amount due to its employees.
