The Pharmaceutical the most because of the way they price gouge the poor and people in need of medicine to just survive day to day.
At least with the oil companies you have a choice of whether or not to buy their product. You can choose to use the bus or subway etc.
But a person needing his or her medication just to live has no choice but to pay the high prices they are charging the American people.
Then you go to another country right across the border and you get the exact same drugs made by the exact same company in the exact same plant on the exact same production line at the exact same time. For A THIRD OF THE PRICE they are charging us.
Well now that you got me pee-d off I can get to work and look for someone to fire. |

easy - the oil industry.
the pharmas get a bad rap because people never consider that the pharmas have to balance R&D budgets in their selling prices. The US has more expensive drugs, but we are the developers of new drugs. And the government requires they prove they know what the hell they are doing when they release ot market. A pharma can sell nearly anywhere else in the world before they hit hte us market: we have some of hte safest food supplies, drug efficacy audits, medical device surveillance... it costs big money to do business as a pharma.
now Oil complanies seem to me like good ole boy networks all 3 degrees waya from the middle east and the bush dynasty. operating unsafe refineries for profits, polluting coastlines... the travesties go on. Unchecked I might add. |
