My dream is to be a good businessman and manager too. So i was always asking same question myself. Now I am studying business and management.
The ones you listed are all good.
I dont know your situation, but i have some idea at least.
All depends on where you live, your managerial skills, creativity and your capability to come up with new ideas (even if they are crazy). One more thing is the environment you have (which republic, political and economical conditions).
Before i wanted to be a big businessman. I wanted to go to industrial business.
As i studied more, i changed my mind. I will tell briefly why, that will be my answer.
Everyone wants to have a lot of money, most of us do it because of money.
If Expense is smaller (less) than the Revenue, then its good business. Actually thats how business is, but what matters how big is the gap between them.
You know that there are 2 kinds of business, product and service.
Service business is the best, no matter what kind of.
Product business is hard, because its hard to reduce the expenses and hard to control. Also, product business is vulnureable to the environmental stuff. Always you depend on earth resources and a lot of RD needed. Imagine, how hard its to produce "car". If even you can start it, hard to compete with the giant producers that already exist. Also, the knowledge used here is limited. You cant switch to other businesses once your business fail, because you need additional knowledge to go over another one.
Service business has advantage because its easier to control and also easier to cut the expenses. Example, I open a coffee shop chain, all I need to do is to prepare coffee that (may) cost much less than to the customer and you get 3-6 $s.
All the developed countries are now switching to service now.
As i noticed above, if you have good interpersonal personality, then do service business.
If you have agressive personality then you may go to product business.
If you have great ideas and creativity mind, then do service business, as it will be our "future".
You want the best business, the best one is "technology".
If you know IT, then go for it, and you will not regret. |
