Which would be a worse boss?
A boss who is is tight fisted, or a boss who has the temper of a rhinoceros?

I once had a boss who was both of those things.

MM
The one with the temper is worse, no doubt about it. Nobody likes to get yelled at on a regular basis. It becomes personal.

The tight-fisted-ness never gets personal.

Tight fisted is good for business... having a temper is not.

temper .... i hate being yelled at.

A boss with a bad temper is worse. Bad for morale and doesn't exactly inspire people. Although a tight fisted boss might not be too generous, I think he/she would dish out praise where it was due but also be more of a leader and control things to achieve the desired goal.

Tight-fisted. A boss with a hot temper is unprofessional and creates a tense work environment. I've had both, and would take the tight-fisted one any day of the week. I refuse to work for someone who makes me walk on eggshells.

karriemak
Neither of them.

AE N
How about never getting a boss that is either?

You know how miserable people tend to suround themselves with miserable people also, and extraordinary people suround themselves with extraordinary people.

If you had a boss that was tight fisted or had a temper of a rhinocerous, they you must be looking for a job with that kind of boss.

You do have a choice on where you work, so why continue to think about these type of questions?

Good Luck!
