most definitely vodafone, they are globally one of the biggest companies throughout the world and are a giant of telecommunications. they have bought out other companies throughout the world, and although their initial unsuccessful phase in asia was fairly high publicity, that is the only bad point of their rise to power.
bt are one country (don't quote me on that though!), vodafone are worldwide.
p.s. vodafone may have made losses, but it's proportional to the amount of money they've invested. if you look at their turnover (just the money that they get from their sales), it is mindblowing... it's when you add in the costs like marketing, overheads and production costs, which is when the plusses go into minus. this is probably just short term, and the investment will pay off for sure in the long term.
