IBM is mostly a BIG computer hardware company.
They have very few competitors.
Microsoft is a software company, their biggest competitor is Oracle. Of which is like 15% of the market, Microsoft is like 75% of the market. Very little competition.
PS We use Oracle at my job, it sucks.
My wife's job tried it, threw it out. It sucked there, too.
But the sales reps at Oracle do a lot of dinners and golf games to get their products sold. |
