What are Apple's competitors when it comes to selling mp3 players? The companies that pose the most threat to them? I'm just curious. Apple's iPods seem to be dominating everybody else out of the water, but there must be some other company just as good. |

Most likely Zune. The zune is Microsoft's version of the ipod. I have one and love it alot. They have free software updates so you don't have to go buy new ones every 6 months. Its the same price as an ipod and for $15 a month you can download unlimites songs, videos and more. |

there are no threats to ipods. a zune may be the closest thing, but they are nowhere near becoming the dominant music player. |

I dont think Ipod has anyone to compete with really because Zune sucks and its huge, plus iTunes is so user friendly its like getting a double package of two good things meaning user friendly. Ive had other mp3 players and all I wanted was just to get the songs on the thing and I couldnt even figure out how to use there program correctly, Ipods rule and rock the nation. |

cowon samsung zune is a pretty average competitor those 3
cowon (o2,d2,s9,a3,q5,p5,etc)competes without knowing
samsung (p2) is going head on
zune is ya..
i'd say cowon is a good competitor that doesn't stand out well in the states. and samsung is kinda slow at makin em and zune is just out .. its good but its not anywhere near the other competitors |
