In response to an answer above, All Days have been taken over by the Co-Op. I have seen at least three turn into a Co-Op fairly recently.
But yes, Spar and the Co-Op are the largest convenience stores around. Tesco are creeping in with their Tesco Express at petrol stations, and Sainsbury's are coming with their chain of Sainsburys Local branches. I've seen a couple of Sainsburys Central branches as well, but never worked out what was actually so central about them... |
