it is all about fraud - like the African email scam or any of the things that sound too good to be true and come out of nowhere (how can you win a lottery that you have never entered). You may not think that they could access your account with the info they ask for, but they go through all kinds of records, piecing the info together. Protect all your private info, however irrelevant you think it is, it is not worth the risk of someone being able to access your accounts.
